I’m a product designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, originally from Massachusetts. I’m currently at Quicken, designing and researching for Quicken Simplifi where I’ve worked on a variety of projects for better personal finance management. Previously I was at Zume, a B2B food logistics company. While there, I worked on a last-mile delivery app, kitchen logistics tools, design systems, and e-commerce platforms. Thanks for stopping by to check out my work!
I find the research and iteration aspects of design most rewarding. I enjoy the challenge of synthesizing information whether it’s in the form of testing data, interviews, user feedback, research articles, or all of the above to inform decision-making on projects. I am always interested in investigating the larger picture of a problem area before attempting to define solutions.
Things I like include spirograph sets, baking (and eating) macarons, and board games.

“Erika was a supportive and attentive mentor. I enjoyed thinking through my design decisions and problems with her. She gave us excellent resources when we want to try out new things and learn more about UX design. She also gave us timely responses to our questions via Slack and provided us with the freedom to explore our design interests through this internship. Moreover, Erika reminded us of the bigger picture of Unrulr's problem statement and users when we were unsure or too focused on the details.”
“Erika is still one of my favorite product designers I’ve ever had the joy to work with. She is detailed, highly empathetic, very self-driven and designs well above her experience level — I frequently felt she was performing at a senior level or better as a product designer when we partnered on products & UX at Zume.”
“Erika’s ability to shift and grow with Zume while tackling new challenges around every corner was monumental, especially when we opened new offices and broadened our vision to build products for other companies to build and track their cooked and processed food products (which includes a whole new set of challenges). Her curiosity and steadfastness shone through and she held true to the ideals of imparting better opportunities for research and stronger bonds among Design, Engineering, and Product teams.”
“I had the pleasure of working closely with Erika for over 2 years on a wide variety of projects from scratch — delivery driver mobile apps, an end-to-end restaurant ecommerce platform, truck kitchen software, and a company-wide design system to name a few. No matter the type or size of the challenge — or how much requirements, timelines, or any circumstance shifted — Erika brought a rigor to every project other designers can barely imagine.”
